Nice, a bit too fast and a bit too sad... I think that the lose was too big (can't say more to do not be a spoiler;). My 6 years old son couldn't understand why that bad thing happened. Also some of texts were too "cool" for my taste. Very nicely drawn, Alfa dragons very scary... ;)
I love the idea of mother abondoning her family for what she belived in.
And the main hero is handicaped - that's so cool ;).
