The third the best film of the Kino Pavasaris Festival 2014 and the last one.... ufff;). Two weeks of the festival is a bit too long, too much of pleasure... time to come back to reality;).
I can not find words to describe the film... I don't know from where to start. There is something special in Scandinavian movies... something that makes them recognizable them after few seconds and sometimes just after seeing one picture... someting i love in them."The Hour of the Lynx" filmed with a very big distance... but not cold at all. It is a bit like observation of what is happening without participation and the retrospective makes things even more interesting. It touches so many topics... Being a parent, abandoning your kid, mental sickness, faith, being a priest, institutions for people who are mentaly sick, eksperiments on people... etc. etc. oh so much to think about....
